Check out my Slide Show!

Savannah Loves to eat her hands!

Lately Savannah has discovered her hands! If she is awake, they are in her mouth, or she is attempting to get them to her mouth. She does this whether she is hungry or not! Another funny thing she does is suck on her top lip! It is so hilarious! She laughs now, especially if you tickle her chunky thighs or do raspberries on her neck. She is so much fun! I can't believe that in a few more weeks she will be 4 months old! Time goes by way too fast!

That is what Emma said when I asked her questions. She just went on and on with her answers. Like Brett she loves to talk during the whole day! Usually it is a running commentary on what we have done during the day, and asking what we are going to do next. If it isn't an eventful enough day for her then it is a "small day". If we do a lot of fun things in her mind she will classify it as a "big day". She is a big helper to me and so funny and smart. We love her very much!

We sing a song about Crocodiles and monkeys and I asked him if it was a monkey and he said, "No, money so he can go to the store and buy snacks!" Brett talks all day long and it is mainly about monsters, dinosaurs, big trucks, any animal with big teeth etc. You get the idea. He is a little boy through and through and we love him!

Crazy with 6!!!

There are now six grandkids on my side. For my Mom's birthday Jenny, Mandi and I had an idea to give her a frame for her present. This frame had a handprint of each grandchild with their name by it. We were all worried about putting the hand print on paper. Although it was a little tricky, it worked out for the most part. The hard part came when we tried to get all of the kids to sit still for a second so we could get a picture! This is what happened! The last picture is the one we ended up using, since it was the best of the 15 I took! The whole time I am snapping pictures Jen and Mandi are dancing around behind me, trying to make the kids smile. I think the effect was that they all thought we were a little crazy! Oh well, it wasn't perfect but, when we gave my Mom the frame she got a little choked up and liked the present. It was worth all the drama!

Hmmmmm....... something about us. One of the main things that come to my mind is that we are Utah fans! Mike was raised a BYU fan and jokes that he has now "gone to the dark side", but after working hard and receiving his Bachelors in Business Marketing at the U of U he has become a true fan. Maybe a bit too true, he teases me when the kids wear blue, or I buy anything blue!
Last Year Mike and I went to 3 Utah Football games. They were a lot of fun, especially when they won. I loved spending time with Mike, and really enjoyed the Nachos!

No, really, I am learning more and more about football and can follow it more now. After I had Savannah, Mike took the kids to some Basketball games. I wondered how well a 2 and 5 year old would do at a game, but Mike said they had a blast! Every time the Utah song came on Brett and Em would scream really loud at the end -GO UTES! They thought the whole thing was a lot of fun! It was nice for me too, because it gave me some one on one time with Savannah.
This year we are going to be buying Season Tickets for football and so we will be seeing many more games!

When Mike took the kids to the Basketball game he couldn't resist getting them crazy fan red hair! Emma and Brett thought it was sooooo cool and couldn't wait to come home and show it to me. I had to take some pictures, they were so cute. I am sure they will be getting a lot of use out of them this year!
