Grandma Meeks

Yesterday we went to see my Great Grandma Meeks in the Assisted Living Center she is currently living in. Recently she moved here, leaving her beautiful cute little home in Midway. It was hard seeing her here and not in her home, but it is a really nice place and she seems happy. I am so lucky to have her, my Grandma Durtschi and my mom. They are all amazing women and I so look up to them. I feel so blessed to have them in my life and in my children's lives. Not many people can have a 5 generation picture!
Emily kept giving her hugs and kisses, we promised to visit again soon. Ok Mandi, this is the closest you are going to get to seeing me with my baby bump. I promise I will take more pics and post them soon!

Here is my cute sister Stef and her baby Cassidy in a 5 generation picture.

St. Patricks Day

For dinner on St Patty's day I decided to make a green meal. Usually I make breakfast, but was so lazy that morning that it just didn't happen. So I made breakfast for Dinner! French Toast, green eggs and milk. Savannah had me laughing so hard. She kept looking at me like I had lost my mind with all the green stuff in front of her!
Before each bite she would look and Emily and Brett to make sure it was okay to eat.

Brett loved the green eggs, and told me it was the best dinner ever! He never drinks milk, but somehow the green colored milk was delicious and he had two cups. Maybe I should add food coloring to his milk every day! :)
Emily also enjoyed it and told Mike (who was in Boise for business) that he missed out on a great dinner. Somehow, I don't think he minded. I am sure his rib dinner at the Ram was slightly more enjoyable.

Signs of Spring!

We went on a walk today and Brett wanted to go look for signs of Spring. It was something that they had done for Preschool, so I decided to bring along my camera. For me, the biggest sign of Spring is this first picture. My sweet little boy riding his scooter. He was in heaven.......poor thing has had cabin fever pretty bad this winter. I don't know who was more excited to see the sun shine, it's a toss up between us.
Brett cleared the dried leaves for these Daffodil sprouts in our front yard.

My neighbor has beautiful crocus' in her front yard, we were also excited to see a honey bee!

Yay, the snow is melting and new grass coming in! I can't wait for the warmer weather to stay around!
