Camping
We went camping last weeek with my family. My Aunt Carla and Uncle Rick came with their kids and their grandkids. We had such a fun time. It was so beautiful up there, and the kids had fun running around with their cousins and getting really dirty. Isn't that what camping is all about? The hardest thing was night, trying to get Savannah to sleep. She wasn't used to being away from home, and I had her so bundled because it was cold, and I don't think she liked it very much! We went on an early morning walk every day and saw deer, and even a bull moose! We love camping with the Frenette's every year and look forward to doing it again soon!

24th of July
Emily and Haylie at the 4th North park in Bountiful getting their faces painted. What beautiful butterflies! Haylie is Em's cousin, and they are the best of friends.
Brett was so excited to finally be a shark! He ran around all day trying to eat people.
My sister Jen, her husband Sam, Haylie and Alex. What a cute family, huh?
Best buds. My dad and Brett. My little guy just adores his Papa!
Me with Brett and Em. Mike stayed home with Savannah and was finishing up packing for our camp trip the next day. Thanks, for working while I had fun Mike! He was able to step outside and look at the fireworks - we live just a few blocks away and can see them from our house. I made the trek up 1800 South with my fam to see them up close. The only one from my family missing was Mandi in Kansas, where for some strange reason they don't celebrate the 24th.......strange huh? Just kidding. We had such a good time, Brett was mesmerized, I wish I could entertain him with fireworks more often! It was a really good day.

Life of a Salesman
This is where Mike was yesterday; Newport Beach in California. Beautiful isn't it? Mike travels for his job and spent the morning and afternoon visiting customers and then flew back the same night. So, he had some free time and spent it at the beach. He always tells me that it is hard to travel, he hates leaving us, it can be tiring and sometimes lonely being by yourself.......Sorry, I don't buy it! I would love to spend the day on a beach in California, enjoying the sun, catching up on reading etc! One of his customers told him he should stay a bit longer next time and he could go see "Wicked" with them. I was so jealous, I would love to see "Wicked"! It is coming here, but costs a bit too much to see. I think next time I will squeeze into his luggage and while he is out seeing customers; I will go soak up the sun and go see Wicked while I am at it!

We work too hard!
I took this cute photo a few weeks ago. Mike had driven to Jerome Idaho and back to check on one of his customers. Savannah wouldn't take a good nap that day. When Mike came home, I was holding Savannah who was very fussy and even more exhausted; while trying to feed Emma and Brett. Mike said, "let me take her for a minute and see if I can calm her down." I thanked him and continued with what I was doing. About 10 minutes later, I noticed a strange sound on the baby monitor; some kind of weird static or something. I went into the nursery to find this. Mike was snoring and Savannah was molded perfectly onto him, sleeping! I just had to run back and get the camera - too cute! I guess they had both had a long, hard day!

Memory Lane
Jenny and Mandi had this on their blogs, and I thought it might be fun! I hope you will play along, here are the directions.
1. As a comment on my blog leave a memory that you have of me. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you!
3. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory of me, I'll visit your blog and leave a memory I have of you!

Fun on the 4th!
On the 4th of July we had a lot of fun at my parents house. We had a BBQ, then there was swimming, water balloons, fishing for prizes and of course, fireworks. We had a great time and loved being together. Em, Brett and Haylie would watch the fireworks and then run away screaming; so fun! Thanks Mom and Dad for the fun day!
Fishing on the 4th!
On the 4th of July Mike took the kids fishing up at Trial Lake. He was so sweet to take them and he was really excited to see them fish. He went up with his Dad, his brother Scott and his nephews Austin, Alex and Tyler. The kids had a blast, and now Brett tells me every day that he wants to go fishing again! Brett caught 6 fish and Emily caught 5 - but, don't tell Em that, she thinks they both caught the same. If she knew her brother caught one more than her she would be upset, everything is a contest! They had a great day, thanks Mike for taking them with you!

Will they stay.......or will they go?
Notice how beautiful Savannah's blue eyes are! I know that genetically it is not likely that they will stay, but it is possible! Mike and I both have brown eyes, but have family who have green or blue. So, I guess our odds are probably 1 in 4. She is six months old today; so opinions please, do you think they will stay blue? How old can a baby be when they change? I am hoping they will stay because it would be fun, but, big brown eyes are beautiful too. Brett and Emma have both proved that! On a side note, thanks to my sister Jenny for giving my blog a summer look - I appreciate it!
