Valentine cookies

Here are my two cute helpers, we made some sugar cookie dough while Emily and Brett were at school.
Of course you have to eat some sugar cookie dough too, yum!

To keep Liam occupied while we decorated the cookies I gave him a sucker. It worked for about 2 minutes.
When I was young I loved doing the doorbell ditching tradition on Valentines. Every year we make a plate of cookies for the grandparents and my siblings who live close by. Then they each choose one friend who gets a plate. There is always a huge amount of sprinkles. They might look a bit crazy, but they are delicious.
Savannah enjoying one of her creations.
Brett being a tease.
We had so much fun making them, rolling them out and decorating. My favorite part is watching the kids run as fast as they can back to our getaway car after ringing the doorbell. So much fun! I love these guys.

I love it! My kids like the sprinkles more than the cookies. Liam looks like a grown up kids these days! Didn't you just have him? I have to say Savannah's cookie definitely looked sprinkle-licious.
