4th of July

Nope, I don't have the Holiday mixed up, just wanted to let everyone in on the big news. Mike and I are expecting our forth baby - due July 4th! We are really excited, (and maybe a little nervous) but looking forward to this summer when we can meet the next little member of our family. Below is a frame that Mike and I got to announce to our family. It was really fun!

Santa

We had the Frenette family Christmas party last week, and of course the highlight of the day was seeing Santa!
Emily was so excited to see him, quickly told him she had been a good girl and wants Disney's Princess and the Frog DVD. She didn't quite understand when I told her it wasn't on DVD yet.
Brett on his best behavior. When Santa asked if he had been good he didn't miss a beat before saying, "Yep!" Although his mom might beg to differ, I know that he tries. He asked for a "Life Saver". Luckily Santa understands 4 year old lingo and said, "Oh, a Light Saber?"

Savannah was really excited to see Santa, that is until he called her name. I think she was just hoping she could slide right off his lap, and run back to safety! She was really excited to get a present though, and told him "thank you" when he had left. It was such a fun party, I loved seeing all of my cousins and their kids. Wow, only a few more days until Christmas!

Setting up the Christmas Tree

First of all, I can't believe how far behind I am in blogging! It seems crazy that there are only 12 more days until Christmas!
We were able to get our trees on my Birthday, thanks to my friend Bobbi for working my shift at work :) We have two trees, one upstairs and one downstairs. I will have to show some pics later. When we went to the tree lot to get our trees, we realized that we had forgotten our camera! So, here are some pictures of us decorating.

Brett had so much fun this year, although we had to keep reminding him that there are other branches on the tree beside one that needed decorating.

Emily kept trying to find the perfect spot for each ornament.
When we brought the tree into the Living Room Savannah looked both surprised and confused, she wasn't sure what we were thinking with our new decorating idea! Once the tree had lights on it though, she got excited. Now every morning we have to walk past the tree. She will tell me it is "preeee (pretty)" and give me a hug and a kiss. We are getting excited for Christmas!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was such a great day. I thought it was funny because Brett was counting down the days until Thanksgiving, which if you know Brett is pretty interesting because the kid doesn't eat! Anyway, he enjoyed a roll, some olives, water and M&M's instead of the pie. Sounds like a 4 year old feast! My kids said their favorite part was eating pie under the table, hey, whatever makes you happy! We had it at my parents, thanks again mom and dad for the yummy food and great company! We made Indian hats for the kids, which they loved and pretty much ate and relaxed. It was a great day. I am so Thankful for my wonderful life, my husband and kids and the rest of my family. I am surrounded by so many amazing people. Also, my great friends. Thanks everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.

Nothing is sweeter than seeing these cuties sleep after a long crazy day! Something about seeing them snoozing away makes you love them even more.

Halloween

I know this post is super late, but here are some of our Halloween Pictures!
Our whole family has been sick and so we put off getting pumpkins until Halloween Day. For those who haven't tried this before, I do not recommend it! There were no pumpkins to be found! Unless they were slightly moldy or mashed. We did find some over priced nice ones but really didn't want to spend that much. So, we settled on these cute sugar pumpkins. The kids had fun carving them out, except Brett who was disgusted by the smell of the pumpkin goo.

Emily made a cute witch.
Brett doing his Spiderman Web - Flinging pose.

Cute little bumblebee. Savannah lasted in the stroller only for a minute. Then she was running after the kids saying "Trick or Treat" like Emily and Brett. She didn't even want Mike and I to help her out. She would lug her bag of candy to each door and not give it up to us to hold! She probably knows, even at her young age that mom is a chocoholic and you can't trust her with a bag full of candy! :)

Earlier in the day we went to my parents house. We had a great Halloween!

Vegas Getaway!

Mike and I went to Vegas last week and had an amazing time! Our ten year anniversary is coming in May. Since we will be on a vacation with my family over it we decided to celebrate early. For the first night we stayed in the Bellagio!!! Here is the view from our window. It was so cool to see the fountains from our room!

Since it is October, everything was decorated in a fall theme, it was so beautiful! This is the front lobby of the Bellagio.
This is in the Conservatory. It is amazing to me how they change everything in it every season. We took about, hmmm a million pictures just in here. :)

Another wonderful thing about Vegas is the good food! We had crepes every day we were there, Yummy!

In front of Caesar Palace.

Can't do a Vegas post without this shot!
Yep, a gold Mustang! It was fun cruising the strip in this thing!
Of course our pics are out of order because of Blogger, oh well. This is the main reason we went to Vegas. On our last night we went to the U2 Concert. It was the best one we have seen, such a great night!

Our seats were right by the back of the stage, since it was a 360 stage they were great seats!

Right by the fountain at Paris.

Cruising the strip in the gold mustang.

We got a Virgin Margarita at our favorite Mexican Restaurant in New York New York. Peach and Banana - mmmmm.

It was so much fun, and we walked probably 10 miles over 3 days! But, any calories we burned we made up for by eating crepes, gelato, and other good food. We loved seeing everything and taking a ton of pictures. Most of all, it was great to spend more time with Mike. I love him, I am so grateful he married me (almost) 10 years ago. He is my best friend, and so much fun to be with! Love ya Babe!

I love Fall. It is my favorite time of the year. But there are some things I will miss about Summer. This is one of them. Our family LOVES corn on the cob. We eat a lot of it while it is in season - in the summer. Savannah even joined in this year. She loved it, especially when she could sit on Daddy's lap and enjoy all the deliciousness of its buttery sweetness. I just thought these pictures were too cute and had to share!

Emily's Birthday

Emily turned 7 on October 2nd. I can't believe how big she is getting! We always let the kids choose what they want their party theme to be, and once again Emily wanted to have a Halloween cake and a Halloween party! We went up to Muellar Park for the family party the Sunday before her Birthday, and had a hot dog roast and lots of good food. It was so much fun.
She has been wanting a camara for a long time, and was excited to get one!
Isn't this cake awesome? Mike made it from scratch, pumpkin - yummy! Emily loved all of the cool decorations!

On her Birthday, Mike surprised her by taking the day off of work. She was so excited to see that he had stayed home just for her! He made a breakfast for all of us and then we went to Kangaroo Zoo. This place is awesome if you haven't been before! There are a ton of inflatable slides and even a minature golf section!

For her friend party that night we had a Halloween costume party. Em wanted to be a scary witch, here she is pretending to cast a spell!
We had a witch pinata and all of the girls, and Brett had fun hitting it. Mike of course, had fun swinging it around for them.
Some of her cute friends.
Happy 7th Birthday Emily! Hope you had a ton of fun. We love you!
