Last trip of the summer

Every year we go camping with Mike's family, and after we went last year and got rained on the entire time, we decided it was time to do something different. My friend Carole at work owns a cabin up at Bear Lake and rented it to us. We had such a great time, and decided we will be doing it again next year.

This is on the front of her cabin, so cute!

Brett and his cousin Connor after a long day of running around and just being boys!

Emily and I went horseback riding with the Zieglers and the Smith family. We loved it! Em was on her own horse, Shoshone, and talked to him the whole time. She had such a great time, although she kept saying Shoshone sounded more like a girls name than a boys. :)
Emily and her favorite cousin Ashley on her horse Captain.

That afternoon we went up to Minnetonka caves with Paul and Alex. We had a great time. Mike carried Savannah for one way and I did it on the way back, whoa - that girl is getting heavy! There are 444 steps in Minnetonka!

On Saturday we went to the Lake. Cheryls family rented a boat and we rented Sea-Doo's with Shauna. It was so much fun! Savannah had a great time wandering up and down the beach.

Brett fell asleep on the boat. We had such a great time and we look forward to next year!

Oh, I so agree. Jim's family did a cabin this year instead of camping too. Soooooo much better. Glad you had fun!

It was such an awesome trip. Thanks Jody, for everything. Can't wait until next year! I love the picture of Savannah by the lake with the beach ball.

That looks like so much fun! I can't believe Em is big enough to ride her own horse.

Too fun! I've wanted to go to Bear Lake all summer, but it hasn't happened. You've inspired me . . . for next summer!

This was definitely a magical trip to say the least! I loved it and much prefer a cabin over camping... oh AMEN to that! It was good to get back on a SeaDoo again; still haven't fallen in after over 20 crazy trips on one. The sunburned crown was worth it! "Winnie the Pooh! Oh AK!" Mike
